Features of your Travelstar policy include:

Personal Accident up to €32,000

If while on your journey, you are accidentally injured causing Death, Loss of Limb, Loss of Sight or Permanent Total Disablement from gainful employment we will compensate you up to a maximum of €32,000.

Cancellation and Curtailment up to €4,000

If you have to cancel or curtail your journey due to illness, injury, death or jury service, you are covered up to a limit of €4,000.

Emergency Medical Expenses up to €2,500,000

If you sustain accidental bodily injury or illness while on your journey abroad, you are covered for emergency medical expenses, in addition to accommodation and travelling expenses including the cost of transportation home in the event of serious illness or injury.

Personal Baggage up to €2,500

In the event of loss or accidental damage to your baggage, we will compensate you up to a maximum of €2,500. For baggage delayed or lost on the outward journey for more than 24 hours we will compensate you for the cost of purchase of necessities up to €250. For delays between 12 to 24 hours the limit is €125.

Missed Departure up to €400

If you are involved in a road traffic accident or the motor vehicle or public transport used by you is delayed, resulting in your late arrival to the point of departure or connection to commence your journey from Ireland we will compensate you up to €400 for necessary hotel and travelling expenses incurred in reaching your destination.

Travel Delay up to €250

If your ship or aircraft is delayed for more than 12 hours due to mechanical breakdown, adverse weather or industrial action, we will pay you a cash benefit of up to €250 for additional travel, accommodation, meals or refreshment costs incurred to reach your destination.

Legal Expenses up to €13,000

This cover protects you against legal costs and expenses incurred by you for accidental injury or accidental damage while on your journey.

Personal Liability up to €1,300,000

If accidental injury or accidental damage is caused to other people or their property, and you are held legally liable for doing so we will provide cover up to a limit of €1,020,000 plus costs for third party damages and costs.

Personal Money & Credit Cards Personal Money up to €300 Credit Cards up to €600

If your money is accidentally lost or stolen we will compensate you up to €300 and up to €600 for Credit Cards.

Loss of Passport up to €400

If your passport is lost or destroyed by accident and you incur additional travelling and accommodation expenses to obtain a replacement we will compensate you up to a limit of €400.

Hijack up to €600

For every 24 hour delay we will pay €75 up to a maximum of €600.

A 24 hour emergency helpline is available to you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to ensure peace of mind while providing assistance and advice in the event of a serious medical emergency while abroad.
