Contractors Insurance

Zurich's Contractors' All Risks policy is tailored specifically for the needs and requirements of Building, Electrical and Plumbing Contractors involved in the construction of Private Dwelling Houses and General Buildings (i.e. Shops, Offices and Factories).

The policy provides the following cover for Contract Works Temporary Works and Materials incorporated therein (excluding loss or damage to existing property):

• Professional Fees
• Debris Removal
• Transit to or from the Contract Site
• Cost of Rewriting Plans

Standard cover includes Fire, Storm, Flood, Theft, Collapse, Malicious Damage and Accidental Damage.

Extensions to cover include:

• Constructional Plant and Equipment
• Site Huts/Temporary Buildings and Contents
• Plant hired in and for which the Insured is responsible
• Employees' Tools and Personal Effects

Policies can be on an annual or specific contract basis.

• Off Site Storage of Materials relating to contracts
• Free Issue Materials
• Expediting Expenses
• Transit Storage En Route
• Hire Charges Liability
