Zurich launched a new SMS service in January 2010, offering customers the facility to receive claims information directly to their mobile phone via SMS text messaging. Information includes Claim Number, Claim Handler Name and Claim Handler Contact Number. Feedback from customers and brokers has been extremely positive.

We have now extended this service to offer customers the facility to receive an SMS text message confirming that their claim payment has been processed. The message will confirm the claim number details, payment amount and issue date of the cheque.

This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to provide customers with regular and relevant information throughout all stages of the claims process, which will result in a more streamlined and efficient claims process for customers and brokers alike.
