Who are we looking for and what entry requirements do you need?

There are three ways to qualify for the programme:
- For those under 23 have a minimum of two leaving cert honours, with a pass in Mathematics and English or Irish.
- For students who are over 23 on January 1st of the year of entry, interviews and other selection tools will be used to assess suitability, replacing the minimum requirements above.
- Learners who have a full FETAC level 5 qualification will also be eligible to join the programme.

There are four stages to the Zurich Apprenticeship selection and screening process. In order to qualify for the programme you must meet the criteria at each of the stages. You will be notified by the Talent Acquisition team as you pass through each stage of the assessment process.

Come meet us on Tuesday May 9th from 11am until 1pm to hear more about the programme. We will also conduct CV tips & Interview tips clinics, at our Zurich Wexford Centre, Limekiln House, Drinagh, Co Wexford.
Complete the short online Ability Test. It will include multiple choice questions - numerical, verbal and cognitive reasoning. A link to the test will be emailed to you. Make sure you conduct the test in an environment that is free from distractions. (*There are a number of free online practice tests available)

Conduct a short competency based video interview (approximately 25 minutes, using your smart phone, ipad or laptop).
We will assess your motivation for the role, as well as some competencies identified as important such as customer focus, initiative, problem solving, team-work and planning and organisational skills. You will receive tips on how to prepare for this and will have time to practice. You will just have one chance to record your response, make sure you conduct the interview in an environment that is free from distractions.

For the final stage, you must be available to attend the half day assessment centre on 24th June, Zurich offices, Drinagh, Wexford. You will have the opportunity to meet our current Apprentices, hiring managers and our HR team.
You will be invited to take part in a number of exercises and one short interview with our hiring managers. You will receive more details in advance and guidance on how to prepare for the assessment centre.
